This news is a bit troubling. Teen pregnancy is a tough issue that needs to be addressed in a different manner than we’ve been going about it. However, I think Roye might be a bit prejudice. “A suburban, white girl — high school girl — gets pregnant; she has more money; she has access; she has knowledge” Is there really a need to say the girl is white? There are Latinos, African Americans, Asians etc. living in suburban neighborhoods.

Honestly…. These “girls” having babies like this are young & ignorant. They think they cool & can relate to their undereducated peers by having one. Instead they need school & how bout getting married or something?? Get a damn grip & keep your legs closed!!

Teenage pregnancy is a very important issue. I am saddened that it is not given the importance it needs. The facts (the nationalcampaign dot org) associated with teenage pregnancies rarely get the attention they deserve. We need to be much more proactive in dealing with this issue.
